River Valley Flyers Mission Statement
To provide flight training for multiple types of aircraft including rotorcraft. The interests of club members are diverse with many different types of aircraft and propulsion systems. We have student pilots, instructors, pattern, quarter scale , helicopter, glider, slow flyer, and electric pilots.
We have club members that have experience in different propulsion systems including, glow engines, gas, diesel, electric, and rubber-band powered aircraft. We learn from and help one another. Because we are a Radio Control club, we have the financial resources to maintain two nice runways that are free from obstructions with no houses in the flight area. This limits potential complaints about noise and liability risks
