Become a Member

AMA

R/C Airplane & Helicopter Club in Central Wisconsin Club Meetings Club meetings are held at 7:30pm the first Thursday of each month at the flying field, June through September, weather permitting. Map to field at bottom of this page. During the fall & winter, or if it rains on meeting night in summer, club meetings are held at the community room in the Shopko Plaza Mall in Wisconsin Rapids. The room is located near the mall office and public bathrooms. Map to Shopko Mall at bottom of this page.

2004 River Valley Flyers Membership Rates

Junior Membership [age 16 to 17] $ 15.00
Adult (18 and over) $ 40.00
Family (household) $ 45.00
Late Fee (after april 15) $ 10

You may also pay your membership fee by simply attending one of the monthly club meetings, as mentioned above.

Academy of Model Aeronautics

Since this club is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) sanctioned club, members are required to maintain a current membership with the AMA. As a benefit you'll receive an informative monthly magazine, from AMA, called Model Aviation. AMA also provides an extra insurance coverage that covers damages beyond what your home owners insurance covers. You can easily join the AMA online, or obtain a form for membership at the AMA website. www.modelaircraft.org
